Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy

The lymphatic system, along with the blood, transports fluid to every cell, tissue, organ and is a cleansing system. The lymphatic fluid is only pumped be the pressure and contraction of skeletal muscles that we use during activity. So when we’re not physically active, inflammation and toxins don’t move through and out.  Instead they accumulate between the cells of the body and result in chronic pain, lethargy, and edema.

Any illness, stress, overexertion, infection, surgery can result in an accumulation of inflammation. Manual lymph drainage uses delicate massage techniques on the skin to help improve drainage. In an attempt to improve this therapy, an electronic massage device, LET (Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy) was developed and researched over the last decade. It uses gentle, sound pressure waves and a mild electro-static field. LET can be used along with specific manual massage techniques. This combination therapy vibrates and loosens the stagnation of toxins and inflammation to stimulate and restore proper flow as effectively as six manual therapy appointments.

Regular use has been documented to improve your lymphatic fluid flow and accelerates detoxifications of your tissues. This leads to more vitality, relief of aches and chronic pains, aides with common ailments such as sinus, flu, colds, faster healing from surgeries, injuries and sports, and allows for less edema, fibrotic conditions, and swelling from various causes. Finally, since the formation of collagen and its regeneration is important to your skin, regular use provides tighter skin, fewer wrinkles, and a vibrant completion!
