Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I take off my clothes? A. No. You are fully clothed during your chiropractic appointment. 2. Is it going to hurt? A. Maybe. In some cases your body has been out of alignment for so long that once corrected it can feel sore. Drinking lots of water can help significantly. 3. Are you going to crack my neck? A. No. Dr. McGlynn does not crack any part of you. If she does a manual adjustment she assists the joints in clearing the air that has gotten trapped within them. 4. Do I have to come once a week for forever once I start getting adjusted? A. No. Everyone's needs are different just like everyone's body is different. As long as you do not have an acute injury you will know or even feel when you should come back. 5. Is that sound my bones breaking? A. No. Your bones do not break at the chiropractors. The air that is trapped between your joints is "forced" out causing a "popping" sound. 6. Is chiropractic safe for children? A. Absolutely. Not only is chiropractic a huge benefit to children but it can also help them grow into a healthier adult lifestyle. MD Referrals
McGlynn Chiropractic is well respected by local doctor and health care professionals. Although a referral is not needed to visit McGlynn Chiropractic, we gladly accept them.

At this time we accept assignment from most insurance companies. Each patient’s benefits (co-insurance, co-pay , deductible, number of services included etc) will depend on his/her chosen plan.
