Desk Yoga Welcome to 2021. Our society has transitioned to a sedentary, stressful world with the unprecedented amount of working at a desk, kitchen table even the sofa. Children as well as adults are spending lunch and normal break intervals at their computer. Many more of our patients are being treated here for back and neck pain from sitting too long or improperly. Symptoms we hear are headache, neck pain or neck ache, tingling in the arm, fingers, or leg, decrease of function in the shoulder, tightness in trapezius area of the upper back, dizziness, and fatigue. Stress forms in our shoulders and creeps into our arms and hands. What is a person to do? *Get adjusted more regularly. *Drink more water and take bathroom breaks. *Set your phone timer for a short trip to remind you to take a break, walk around the house. *Exercise.
